SUMMARY

Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and provide ongoing care to patients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

· Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients

· Develop and implement individualised treatment plans

· Prescribe and adjust medications as needed

· Monitor and track patient progress

· Provide counselling and therapy to patients

· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care

· Stay up-to-date on advancements in the field of psychiatry

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Medical degree and completion of psychiatry residency program

· Valid license to practice psychiatry in the UK

· Board certification in psychiatry preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

· Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatments, and medications

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment

· Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other patient record management systems

· GMC Full Licence to Practice and on the Specialist Register

· Certificate of Personal Medical Indemnity
