Offshore Recruiter

Office: TX - Remote

RMI is a global provider of medical, health, safety, and clinical support services, delivering solutions in complex and remote environments worldwide. We support clients across energy, maritime, industrial, and infrastructure sectors by deploying highly skilled medical professionals to protect the health and wellbeing of their workforce - wherever the job takes them.

Our work spans remote industrial sites, offshore operations, and challenging environments, and is underpinned by experienced teams and a collaborative, problem-solving culture. As our footprint continues to grow across North and South America, we are looking for a motivated, Offshore recruiter to join our expanding team.

The Opportunity

Offshore recruitment is about much more than finding the right CV. It requires a clear understanding of offshore experience, certifications, medical requirements, availability and mobilisation, often while working to demanding operational deadlines.

We are looking for an experienced Offshore Recruiter who understands the offshore workforce and can quickly identify qualified, compliant and available personnel. What matters most is your offshore industry knowledge, sourcing capability and ability to deliver the right people at the right time.

What you’ll be doing:

You will manage the recruitment lifecycle for offshore and field-based positions, from initial sourcing and screening through to offer, credential collection and onboarding.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting offshore personnel against live client requirements.
  • Proactively identifying quality candidates through targeted outreach, job boards, online databases and social media.
  • Building and maintaining strong talent pools
  • Screening candidates for relevant experience, technical competency, availability, certifications, medicals and mobilisation requirements.
  • Conducting interviews to assess candidates’ suitability, interest, qualifications and compensation expectations.
  • Maintaining regular communication with candidates and providing a professional, responsive candidate experience.
  • Working closely with Project Managers, hiring managers and operational teams to understand requirements and provide clear recruitment updates.
  • Maintaining accurate candidate, vacancy and requisition records within the applicant tracking system.
  • Supporting offer preparation, background checks, onboarding and new-hire documentation.
  • Developing trusted relationships with offshore personnel and maintaining an active network for future assignments.
  • Contributing to recruitment strategy, process improvements and project kick-off meetings.

What we are looking for:

We are interested in speaking with recruiters who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in offshore recruitment.
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management and onboarding.
  • A strong understanding of the urgency and operational demands involved in supplying personnel to offshore projects.
  • Knowledge of offshore training, certification, competency and mobilisation requirements.
  • Strong candidate sourcing, networking and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple urgent vacancies and respond effectively to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and record-management skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, recruitment technology and applicant tracking systems. Experience with ClearCompany ATS would be advantageous.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach and a strong sense of urgency.
